meet Bukola:

Hi!  I’m so glad you stopped by to have a quick peek!  This has been such an exciting (and sometimes scary) time and I’m so happy to share all the craziness with you!!

Ever since winning the Nimbus High School Battle of the Bands 2018, I’ve been writing, performing, learning so much and hanging out with some pretty cool people. In the middle of all this, I'm working on my real website which will feature so much more brand new content.

While Im setting that up, I hope you’ll have a look and listen to this temporary site page.

So, about me… I’m a Coquitlam, BC native, self taught 16 year old musician who loves family, friends, fun times and great music.  I’ve been deeply influenced by Jazz, R&B, and especially unique artists like Tracy Chapman, Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston. This year has been something special. I got the chance to perform at the JUNO pre-show Let's Hear it! Live,  was interviewed by CBC, Metro Vancouver, and I've got to meet and work with so many amazing people.

As for my music, when people ask what style, I say it’s something of a blend between jazz and contemporary R&B.

Sending lots of love and harmony to you, thanks again for visiting, and hope to see you at a concert really soon!

Love,

Bukola
